Bedless, But Not Homeless

FIRST OF ALL: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all my support team, prayer team and financial team. WE ARE AT THE $2K MARK. Almost half way to my first deadline!!! JESUS IS SO GOOD. I definitely could not do any of this without you guys, so shoutout to all of you for getting me there. So many answered prayers!

Onto the actual meaning of this post…I am bedless for a month. Long story short, my bed left today and went to my parents’ house. I’m moving in with some friends in June to save more back for the race, but until then, my sleeping options are:

1) twin size air mattress

2) livingroom couch A

3) livingroom couch B

It’s a weird season. Prepping for the journey ahead looks a lot like running around trying to make sure I have all my ducks in a row, and realizing how much I don’t most days. My room looks like a tornado hit it, and I’m trying to majorly downsize before I move to the next place.

I feel like there’s always something else I should be doing, and a lot of days I’m overwhelmed. It seems there is so much time, but at the same time, not so much.

I don’t have super gathered thoughts for this post, which isn’t normally how I roll…so here’s a few prayer requests!

1) REST. I’ve been really busy the past few weeks, but haven’t been super focused on anything…including having quiet times, so that’s been rough.

2) SUPPORT RAISING. I have a few fundraisers coming up, so please be praying for God to provide through these efforts and the businesses willing to help out!

3) SQUAD. My squad is growing closer every day via group chat, and some of us have been able to meet, which has been really cool. Please be praying for continued bonding and support raising for my whole squad!
