R O A R

As many of you know, I had a big identity spoken and prophesied over me before I left for the Race: a roaring lion. To read more about it, check out this post and this post.

Yesterday we went on a safari in South Africa, at Kruger Park. I prayed for two months to see a roaring lion at a safari. I prayed about it a lot.

Sorry, not sorry to say, I did not see a roaring lion yesterday at Kruger Park.

As I sat in the vehicle looking for one everywhere, I started talking to God about it.

“God, I’ve been praying about this for two months, and you told me that I’d see a roaring lion in Africa. And here we are, headed back “home”, and I still haven’t seen a roaring lion. What. The. Heck.”

“You already saw a roaring lion in Africa. In Lesotho. Every. Single. Day.”

“I never saw a roaring lion in Lesotho, there were no lions there.”

“Did you look in the mirror in Lesotho?”

“HUH?!”

I didn’t see a physical roaring lion in Africa. I stepped into being one. Where we were, and in the ministry we were doing, I pounced on every opportunity to speak truth into people, because they need to know what Jesus did for them. Because they need to know that they are seen, known, heard by the God that created them. Because there’s some scripture not taught correctly, and they need to know that it is God who saved them from eternity separated from Him.

Africa month one has been wild, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Right now, I’m $2,793 away from being FULLY FUNDED for the World Race. If every friend I have on Facebook donates just $2, I will be over what I need to stay on the field as a roaring lion, speaking the life and truth of Jesus to people around the world.
