I want to apologize for being a little distant on telling stories from the field for a lot of reasons. Mainly because the past month or so has been pretty difficult for me. I want to tell you the stories from the field. I want to share what’s been going on. It’s crazy because there is so much *TO* the journey of the Race. So I’m going to break some things down over several blog posts, but want to explain a little more by breaking down different aspects of what’s going on here first.

1.) The stories from the field. These are interactions and stories of what God is doing in the area we are in. This includes people we are ministering to, the hosts we have, the cities we live in and more. There are more stories than I could ever begin to post on here, but there are some that simply need to be told.

2.) The stories of what is happening in our squad and teams. Our squad is the total group of people out on the field. My squad, 5th Generation O-Squad, or Ohana, is made up of 37 members working in the body on the field. Ohana is currently in Colombia for a few more weeks before moving to Ecuador and then back home to the USA. O-Squad is split into 5 teams of 6-7, with 3 members of the squad in leadership. Each team is at a different ministry location throughout a country. We are sometimes paired with 1-2 other teams, and some months we are all together in the same location.

3.) The stories that are happening in me. These differ from all the rest. They require much more vulnerability and being raw and real. I shared a lot of these at the beginning, but as the Race has gotten more difficult, I’ve taken a step back from sharing these stories as much. This was a lie I was believing, because I didn’t want people at home to worry about what I was walking through being so far from home. I want to deeply apologize for not sharing my heart and the work and growth God has been doing in me.

This being said, I’m giving myself the challenge to create 1 or more blog posts every day for the next two weeks. This will require a lot of reading for you all, but I think you’ll find it reading you enjoy and look forward to each day. That being said: GET READY AND RILED UP FOR SOME WILD STORIES.

Much love to you all. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, financial support, and EVERYTHING. This journey wouldn’t have happened without you, and I’m greatly thankful that God chose YOU to help me be out on the field for 11 months in 11 countries.

One response to “i’m sorry.”
