Well, I’ve been home (in the States) for just over a month now. Here’s what I can tell you right now:

1) I almost cried using a washer AND dryer the first week I was back.

2) We aren’t relational enough in the States.

3) I forgot what I owned.

4) DVD collection has yet to be fully located.

5) Working at the Bluestem Grill is fun and going well.

6) I get to work with some amazing people.

7) Discipline hasn’t been going well on nutrition and workouts, but its on the up.

8) Shoutout to Morgan White and Krista Booker for teaching me to be a better DJ.

9) Weasley (my dog) is glad I’m back, and as needy as ever.

10) Being back is still weird every single day.

11) O-Squad, you are missed.

12) Bistro is still home.

13) Owning more than one pair of jeans is stellar.

14) Dishwashers are magic.

15) Home is still hard.

Hug your people. Tell your people you love them. Tell them God loves them. Tell them they can be real. Tell them they don’t have to fake it.

Make dreams and keep reaching for them. They’re there for a reason.

Don’t disregard people who aren’t like you. Don’t judge people for where they are. Love them. Be friends with them. From recent life-happenings, you’d be surprised who might become a good friend. You’ll be surprised at the kindness of some who can easily be glanced over. Full post coming soon on this one.
