Hello to all the beautiful people in Vickie’s life! My name is Hannah and I get to journey with Vick on the world race this upcoming October!

None of you know me, but I wanted to share with you a little bit of what I know about Vickie’s heart and why you should support this wonderful woman. Let me be the first one to tell you, Vickie is the one on the squad that everyone knows and loves. She is a constant reminder to push me closer to the Lord and keeps me on track both for the race and in my daily life. She is able to use her words in such a way that radiates who Jesus is and I absolutely love that about her.

In this world, there are not many people you can find that can make you feel so welcome like Vickie can. Vick and I have actually never met before, but the way she cares about me and my journey is such a testament to who she is and who she is living for.

This amazing quality that Vickie has is a quality that is SO needed on this trip, not only for our squad, but also for the people that we are going to reach all over the world. Today I just read a scripture in the bible and it reminded me exactly who Vickie is. It said, “sharing the story of Jesus begins with understanding the story people are living.”

Vickie truly CARES about the people she is around and wants to meet them exactly where they are at. She wants to understand their struggles and pains and joys so she can love people at her full potential. And this is exactly why the people across the world are desperate for people like her.

The quality that she has is a quality that the Lord only gives a select amount of people. The orphans, prostitutes, sick, elderly, poor, rich and all the other kinds of people that we encounter on this journey need Jesus, and Vickie has the ability to show them.

This is not a blog post in order to get people to donate money, but a blog post about who Vicks is and why Jesus has called her to go on the World Race. A blog post about how a complete stranger, who has never met Vickie before, can see the potential in her and see the potential Jesus sees in her.

If you have already partnered with Vick in order to support her on the race, thank you thank you thank you!! Not only is she forever grateful, but I am too because every dollar that you donate allows her to fulfill the calling that the Lord has set on her heart. If this blog has put something on your heart, I would consider being a monthly donor to this trip as well!!

If you have not partnered with Vickie yet, I encourage each one of you who reads this to think and pray about donating what you can to this calling! Even if it is just $5 or $10, a little bit goes such a long way.

I am so incredibly proud of Vickie, and I am so blessed to be a part of her life. If you are unable to donate to Vick at this time, give her a text or a call and support her with your words:)

Love you Vicks,

Hannah

  1. When we care for one another, we are cared for ourselves. I love how this squad pulls for one another!
